In early 2010 Radial won a five-way pitch to compose and produce the music for a ground-breaking campaign from Waitrose. Produced by MCBD/Dare and fronted by Heston Blumenthal and Delia Smith, the campaign launched with a film that ran for an entire 3’30” break on both ITV and Channel 4 and drew huge media interest. The soundtrack to the campaign is orchestral, with Heston and Delia each having their own style and sounds. Radial were also asked to create a melodic identity for the campaign and this has run in all commercials.
In the first year Radial produced music for over 40 commercials and, based upon the success of the campaign, were commissioned for a second year.
